The Entertainment Software Association and the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences are celebrating the art of video games in the "2012 Into the Pixel" exhibition.
A jury of 10 judges from the video game and art industries chose 16 original works from games such as "Journey" and "Mass Effect 3."
The 2012 Into the Pixel collection will be presented at the annual E3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center June 5-7.
“ITP is a testament to the artistry and creative vision of our industry’s innovators and remarkable talent,” Michael D. Gallagher, president and CEO of the Entertainment Software Association, said in a statement. “I congratulate the selected artists for achieving their creative vision and having that talent recognized by their peers.”
